Considering it's now the 11th of April and I have only wrote two posts, kinda sums up how I am feeling about the new Blogger layout, seriously how many div do you need to enter Blogger?? It is quite simply a headache and would very much like to go back to the old template but they seem to have taken that action away now. Booo. Also opening your preview in a whole new internet frame is the most frustrating of all ARGH.
Anyway I have had this amazing jacket for a while now and really wanted to share it with you. This is quite possibly my biggest 'perk' I've had come out of blogging...yes being sent a very expensive leather jacket would cloud most people's judgement, and they'd just say WOW, they're not me. The wonderful il2L, who sell amazing women's leather jackets originally wanted to send me a brown leather trench coat (even more expensive than this one), and true too my guns I declined their offer thinking that would be that, as I would never accept something that I would never wear just because it was free. Then the lovely Jess got back to me and said that the company appreciated my honesty and would the below jacket me more suitable....you already know the answer.
It doesn't particularly have any flaws, apart from 1: when it arrived in the box and wonderful dust bag the collar was bent and for the life of me I can't get it to lie flat and 2: I don't like the little scissor motif of Barney's label...that's literally it. It's warm, the leather is soft, it's not too short like my Topshop one, I can fit a jumper under it quite comfortably and it's biker style...my all time favourite.
On a life front, I'm alright. I have amazing toothache and swollen glands...but hey I'm off to Chicago in 4 months, so none of it really matters hehe.
Love.
P.s I am sorry for offending your eyes with my amazingly pasty legs, I hope you overcome the trauma quickly.

That jacket is absolutely gorgeous and you look so lovely you pretty thing! I have a Barney's one too but it's more cropped than yours and I wish it was longer (got major jacket envy right about now!) I can't wait till it warms up a bit so I can wear it with a dress and boots too. I'm in the pasty legs gang too (I keep reading that as pasty like a Cornish pasty and it looks weird, imagine having legs like a Cornish pasty), need the sun to come back! X

I hadn't noticed that Blogger had yet another new layout, but thinking about it, it make me open my previews in a new window (which my browser annoyingly kept blocking for me...)...
ReplyDeleteBefore I started reading this my eyes honed in on the words 'my guns' and thought I was about to witness you giving us the Gem-gun-show. Actually pretty gutted such photos weren't included!! (hint for next time?) So I know it's not the main focus of the post but I love your dress, especially with the jacket! Pretty lady, as always xxx
