Who needs roses?

So not only does February bring mine and Dey's Mom's birthday's 15th & 16th. It also brings Valentine's -a tricky holiday, a Marmite one if you will. You either love it or hate it, or like me and Dey you take it in turns each year. This year is my turn, so when Interflora contacted me to see if I would like to try one of their ideal Valentine's gifts...I was slightly selfish and accepted. HEY Dey will still get his Valentine's!

Now as much as I am extremely lucky and have a man that surprises me and treats me to little things often, dude making me tea every morning cemented the fact that I was going to marry him. There is still nothing quite like getting fresh flowers by post. The moment the delivery man turns up and you aren't expecting them...amazing. My Ma used to have a man that posted one rose through our letter box every day...he was pretty smitten.

I went for a Valentine's gift bag with chocolates, they offer it with bubbly for likes of you who enjoy a toast or two. These chocolates are champagne filled....and taste divine, so I still got my mini kick. Now I chose this bouquet because I think roses are a tad cliché, I don't really like a rose unless it's yellow. I also wanted to showcase just how beautiful other types of flowers can be if you can't quite afford a bunch of roses (or he can't.) I also think this particular gift would be lovely if you wanted to treat your Mum, Sister or best friend. Sometimes they need the love and I don't think Valentine's has to strictly be about couple's. My Mom sends me a Valentine's card every single year and I adore her for it.

I've had the flowers since Saturday and they are still going amazingly strong considering it's Thursday today, most of my chocolates are still around too...probs because I hid them from Dey. Well done Interflora for a beautiful gift option, for an amazing price.

Why not leave this tab open in front of your men girls, just whilst you go and grab something...you know that thing.

  6. I do love a massive bouquet of gorgeous flowers. I have to say I do like roses, but I definitely prefer pink to red. Last year my boyf was away on holiday over our anniversary but he ordered a massive bunch of flowers to arrive at my door that day - it was an amazing surprise! xxx

  9. They look lovely but I have had terrible service from Interflora in the past when they left my Sisters flowers in the rain past the expected delivery date! Hopefully that was just a one off though xx
