Hello December!

What a year it has been, slightly surreal that December is upon us and yet another year of life is nearly complete. At the beginning of this year I was counting down the days to Mexico and our wedding and now, well now it's all over. People often say that after your wedding is over you feel slightly down, at a loss. Because you have nothing to occupy your time, you've been so busy buying things and planning for such a special day. That when it's all over....what do you do?

Well at least it's Christmas, I love Christmas. I find nothing more exciting than buying gifts for other people, especially Dey. This year has had some ups and downs, but mainly ups. Losing my Gramps was a huge deal in my world, it still hasn't healed. But apart from that, I've managed to get a promotion, get married to the love of my life,  and organise a beautiful wedding. I've also managed to visit Mexico, Tulum, Barcelona, Cannes, Pisa, Rome, Venice, Croatia, Ravenna, Capri, Sorrento, Pompeii and Naples....all in one year! I am extremely proud of what I have achieved this year, with my life and my blog.

I still don't think I've managed to quite figure out the life, blogging balance. I would have liked the opportunity to blog more...I do adore it. But planning for a future needs money and I refuse to turn my blog in to an ad, I'm very passionate about it staying that way. I always sit back and reflect at this time of year and I know how extremely lucky I am to have gained all I have this year, in memories, love and life.

I sincerely hope next year is just as wonderful, I hope to become a Mummy if I am blessed. Me and Dey plan on heading to Indiana, NY and Tennessee if we can afford it. I hope I continue to be successful in my job, I hope to meet more bloggers. It was so nice to finally meet Michelle this year! That girl is a stunner, seriously. I hope to become an even better cook, I'm getting pretty good now *smiley face*. I want to share more recipes with you, pictures, life and love. Thank you for being here for me all year, for picking me up when I was down, supporting me, for all the positivity. I'm so amazingly grateful that you are all still here after three years. Merry Christmas guys!
